Vortex Marine Construction Awarded US Army Corps of Engineers Contract for Dredging Projects within the South Atlantic Division

Vortex Marine Construction has been awarded a $500M/5 year Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville, Florida District for dredging projects within the boundaries of the South Atlantic Division (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi).

Vortex Marine Construction Awarded Contract for San Francisco Pier 43 Bay Trail Link

Vortex Marine Construction has been awarded a $6.4 million contract by the Port of San Francisco for the demolition and new construction of Pier 43 on the San Francisco waterfront. Vortex's scope will include demolition of the existing timber pier, replacement of the seawall along The Embarcadero, construction of a new 24" pile supported concrete wharf to serve as a public promenade, and reconstruction and realignment of a portion of The Embarcadero. Work is slated to begin in July and be completed by the summer of 2012.
